What separates a great marketer from a good marketer is applying some semblance of systems to your role.

What do I mean?

As a marketer, you can add sanity and predictability to your growth goals with daily, weekly and monthly tasks.

  • Daily - email outreach for link building, join 3-5 social conversations, respond emails, sync with customer success/product, demo calls.
  • Weekly - write a blog post, write a newsletter, optimize Google Ads, refresh Facebook Ads images, maintain Weekly metrics spreadsheet.
  • Monthly - Monthly company reporting (churn, LTV, revenue, compare MoM delta), optimize landing pages, do channel analysis.

Make a list of daily, weekly and monthly tasks, and add them as a recurring task in your todo app, or set them up to your calendar.

If you don't schedule growth, growth doesn't happen.
